Which class is right for me?
Pilates is one of the most effective forms of low impact exercise for those looking to improve musculoskeletal health and function. It is designed to help build strength and tone in the body, as well as aid mobility and flexibility.
In this mixed ability Pilates class participants will work to strengthen, stretch and balance the body with particular emphasis on core strength and engagement, improving postural alignment and using controlled breath and movement to improve general fitness and wellbeing.
It is also perfectly suited to those who are dealing with certain aspects of injury rehabilitation, pain and in particular back pain. Exercises are coached and delivered in a precise and controlled manner and this helps you to get the most out of a class.

Derived from the Sanskrit word “Yuji,” meaning “Union”, Yoga is an ancient practice that unites the body and mind. This ancient form of exercise focuses on building physical strength and flexibility whilst using breathing to help calm the mind and boost physical and mental wellbeing. The main components of Yoga are postures (Asana) and breath (Prana) in a synchronised series of movement designed to increase strength, flexibility and encourage physical and mental wellness.
In this mixed ability Yoga class participants will work the body and mind through the use of breath and movements in an energetic flow. It combines a gentle warm up followed by a more dynamic sequence of poses to challenge and strengthen the body. Finishing with a guided meditation to balance the mind and restore the body this class is ideal for anyone looking to improve strength, flexibility and bring about a sense of balance. This uplifting class will leave you feeling energised, grounded and calm.

WELLNESS MEDITATION & PRANAYAMA
Meditation is a wellness practice that focuses on creating mindfulness helping to reduce stress and anxiety, improve focus and clarity and create a sense of peace and wellbeing. Through connecting with the breath we can begin to bring ourselves into the present moment and begin to draw our attention inwards.
One of the most important elements of life is our breath. In Yoga this is known as Pranayama. Pranayama is the art of using breath to quieten the mind. In this 30 mins session you will be guided through a simple but powerful sequence of deep breathing exercises followed by a guided meditation. By using meditation techniques to focus on your breathing, internal emotions, feelings and physical sensations you can connect to your inner self, your creativity and your truthfulness.
